1. there is no PoS since Plantard's decline
2. Sandri's face expression shows no confidence or whatsver of a grand master. He looks like a desperate person to me.

I think he thinks he does, so I guess therefore he does; given that anyone is free to create a "Priory of Sion" and make themselves a member. There are probably dozens around the world.

One could just as easily say he's an actor, playing a role, as we all are. He's playing the role of an initiate in a secret society; just as I'm presently playing the role of someone writing on a forum.

More seriously, I'd say, "Yes, he does". Belong to Sion, that is. Given that he had an association with Plantard dating back to the 1970s, and became part of the group that Plantard formed, which called itself the "Priory of Sion", there's no reason to suppose that his membership has lapsed, so to speak.

Of what import it is though, I have far less idea.

I can't see why you'd think that. Sandri may well be playing a game of some kind, but I see nothing in his demeanour that smacks of desperation. To my mind he comes across as being self-assured, courteous, amused, enigmatic, slightly mischievous, raffish, quite charming really. He's an intriguing character. What he says is often interesting, even if his credibility as a source is understandably questionable.

I believe his official position in the organisation he claims to speak for is "General Secretary", rather than "Grand Master", for whatever that's worth. Maybe a little, maybe a lot.

It's hard to tell which one was exploiting the other in that parasitic relationship.

hello Roger,
where did you get this infomation from?...my problem is deciphering real info from disinformation,,,and how do you link to the PDS if at all possible?

Gino was invited to join the Prieure in 1979 by Pierre Plantard de Saint-Clair. He takes after him in many respects. He is an extremely knowledgable 'esotericist', pupil of Eugene Cansiliet, etc. He is bringing a spirit of openness (up to a degree!) between the Prieure and the 'profane' world. I suspect he has good reasons for this, as did Pierre Plantard before him. He must be taken seriously, even though some things he says may APPEAR contradictory or opaque.

Hi Lady Blanchefort.
The first thing that I think of is why would a secret society like the POS ( or the masons ) advertise such a connection easily available on the internet ? Perhaps Gino just fancied a nice holiday in Romania ?

Nic

Hey Nic,

yes, maybe... mixed up with a little PdS-Promotion-Tour:

It seems Mr. Sandri learns to estimate publicity!
