Can somebody explain to me in plain english please why Jake is allowed to post & contaminate every single topic of conversation!
I have just about had it with his disgusting sexual innuendos under the guise of born again christianism or whatever it is meant to be.

Fine if he would only stick to his own threads...but the problem being no one else joins in so he migrates everywhere across the board.

Okay the rednecks & the antipodeans find him funny but the rest of us cannot get any serious dialogue going because of his continual intervention

Call me Mrs fussy if you want but it's getting beyond a joke.

Thirded and fourthed !

I have to say that there are times when I'm embarassed to be the same gender.

Cannot begin to comprehend why someone who professes to be such an ardent follower of any religion let alone Christianity should seem to derive so much pleasure from being so gratuitously offensive and intolerent to his fellow beings.
Old enough to know better!
I only hope that this is his 'Net Ninja persona and he's really a sweetie to those brave souls who have to live with him.
New Years Resolution was to give up interacting with him.
Max Ehrmann got it right about loud and aggressive people being a vexation to the soul!

TD.

Gees,
There is another dodgy spam porn link put up in General Forteana.
The poster had the cheek ( pardon pun ) to add his photo to his user name.
It has been reported, and I hope this stops as these images are graphic

Nic

I've reported it Sheila, just doing a bit of looking at who is doing this, they are a Turkish hacking group called Turk-h.Org. I think the one responsible for this goes by the name of F34RL355 ( or Fearless in English ).
If I had more time on my hands, I would dedicate it to doing the same to them ( except by posting something much nicer, say bunnies or kittens on their website  ).
Regards
Nic

Further to my above post,
It looks like this group have been doing it for a while, the scary thing is there are reports of other forums losing everything.
You might want to pass this on to the Engine Room or whoever is maintaining the forum, maybe an idea would be to have e-mail only account verification to stop these intruders??
Hope this helps.

You are right. These Turks attacked our german/austrian/swiss forum some 2 or 3 years ago. One sunday all was gone. But we got it back and changed our HTTP.

Lots of hackers from Turkey, Russia and China these days ...

Feliks is in Acapulco? I don't mind. I'm off for some skiing. Best time of the year. 8)

Is anyone else getting this message or having problems posting on the forum?
I have tried using 3 different computers today as well as my phone but I am unable to post on the main forum, I have been able to post once elsewhere though. This has been an issue for a couple of weeks and seems to be happening more frequently. I have tried logging out then back in but it makes no difference.......HELP.

I get this too from time to time but it usually doesn't last for more than an hour or two. Have you spoken to Andy about it?

I can't help, I'm sorry to say, but if it's any consolation, it's been happening to me a fair bit too recently, so it's not just you, but some sort of technical glitch on the Forum, a time-out problem as best as I could tell, shutting one out when it's taking too long to execute a command. So definitely a Forum problem, not a tingra's computer(s) problem.
