We shouldn't have to resort to closing down threads simply because certain tyrants don't like them or wish to bog them down in rants or spam. Consistent moderation might solve that problem.

Sheila, is that just yer imagination.. or did Andrew actually say that the moderator was out to launch? Considerin' that there are folks who chat regularly with Andrew on facebook he may have mentioned it there, yes?

The redux topic was set up to pick up the viable aspects of the crista threads and focus on Sauniere's part in that scene. But as I see from recent posts, the focus centers on the Mero era, when Sauniere wasn't around, so why bother with such arcana so far back in time.

If Sauniere had a Mero era coin as a good luck charm, that would be an item worthy of diggin' into, yes?

You started this thread to cause friction, that was obvious from the start and your not fooling anyone. And as for asking the point of the merovingians, well that just shows you haven't ant real interest in anything at all to do with this subject and your only purpose is to cause trouble. Every post you do is negative and you constantly interfere in things that don't concern you.

Sorry that yer irritated Tingra, but Sauniere didn't happen in Mero times, he came along a bit later on, yes? Roger conveniently left out all of the intervening years, to include Sauniree's era as well.

The redux as I envision it is to put the possibility of findin' a trace of this mysterious, elusive 'IT' You Tingra said ya saw it, Sheila sez she knows who has it and possibly where 'IT' is. This automagically puts that 'thang' in our era, yes? Are you following this simple piece of deductive thinkin', and now watch it evolve over to the inductive realm that has been alluded to, hinted about, etc?

This topic is mired so far back in time that the present day iteration of 'IT' may not acually be the same 'thang' as 'IT' was than. if anybody is playin' gatekeeper here Tingra, besides Roger + Sheila, is you, how come?

Uh Sheila, why didn't the mod make that known to the entire forum instead of the inside krew? This is a clear cut indication that censorship is the controlling factor here, IMHO. Has Roger + his Gly-conjob buddies finally pulled off their inside coup to wrest control of the forum away from Andrew? It definitely looks that way from yer response. How else could you know?

Must have been only a flying visit otherwise, as we'll all know

"You'll be going loco down in Acapulco, if you stay too long " !

Sorry, off topic I know but couldn't resist it !

Maybe it was a jumping off point for some more Meso-American studies in the steamy jungles looking for more Olmec remains. Perhaps Acapulco was just a little R+R beachtime?
Judging by recent events He's back and firing on all cylinders !

Well both the Crista and Acapulco have some "repugnant qualities"... safe to say it's OK.

As for the Crista
lets play the worst case scenario
if somebody bad got it then they could unleash hell

how does the Crista work on him

Like all men Rod the Mod is nothing if not a tad vain!
We hope to have a three page in-depth interview with him from Acapulco
covering his life, loves and how an international guy about town can push back and get some sand between his toes !

Apologies for this intervention to such an early posting, it's only the past few days that I've started reading the Crista thread and currently on page 39. This is fascinating stuff, if unfortunately sidetracked at times by the cyber-aggro. On the Crista itself I haven't formed an opinion, due to my pitiful knowledge on the subject, taking refuge in Henry Lincoln's wise words "I either know or I don't know".
