Well, actually Jeff, "infiltration of various groups" is Roger's assessment; I've just let it ride. There are people here that think I work for the Order of Malta - I let 'em think it. You've said recently that you're convinced I'm a devout Catholic using "pagan" as a cover - good. If my "other" life is all a smokescreen, then there's really no need for me to "infiltrate" Catholic groups. Maybe the RCC sent me to "spy" on Arcadia!

It ain't all that difficult to "infiltrate", and a good number of them are RLC/POS "enthusiasts" (mostly cheering for the other side, I might add).

Sounds more like taking pride in your ability to disguise and infiltrate. Who knows what your game is here.

From The Golden Girls

Blanche: "My life is a open book"
Sophia: "Your life is an open blouse!"

Notice I used "infiltrate" in quotations, signifying sarcasm. It would be rather impossible for me to be deceptive using my own name, given all the skeletons in my closet accessible by a few keystrokes. My point is that one doesn't need to resort to deception if one has "something" of value to offer (or "not" offer). Barriers can and do come down under the right circumstances.

(and no, I'm not resorting to sexual innuendo)

 How so, since I never quoted my colleagues and never used the school's name in any argument?

Doesn't matter. You're a member of Penn State's faculty making very public accusations of fraud against another individual without benefit of evidence, and despite documented and posted evidence to the contrary. I'm sure your dean knows who you are, and you're easily identifiable thanks to your book reviews. Just the fact that you're engaging in this sort of behavior has the potential to reflect badly on your department. I'm sure your dean would frown on it. The dean of the History department might also take a dim view of you implicating unnamed members of his faculty as well.

[Tim, since you are now in near-histrionics accusing me of libel, show me just one example. You will note that all I have ever done is quote your own words, and occasionally comment on your words and give my opinion as to your credibility. I have been very careful about this.

Histrionics? On the contrary, I'm grinning from ear to ear! And no, you haven't been that careful; but it isn't up to me to point out where you slipped. And don't try to be clever by going back and deleting all your posts, I saved screen shots.

In fact, if you review the last few pages, you will see your "buddy" Roger has come closest to actual libel.

With friends like that, who needs enemies?

I don't have any problem with Roger, why are you comparing yourself to him?

You used quotes indicating Roger coined the word first. Your life is a series of cons as RevJ and I have been able to clearly bring to light. I highly doubt you used your own name to infiltrate these groups you are so quick to brag about and I doubt very much that what you have carefully chosen to make public can be trusted as being worth it's weight in salt. As far as I'm concerned, you're nothing more then a con man hell bent on bringing this forum, and anyone that doesn't see your reality as acceptable to theirs, down.

Oh, so now you're a mind-reader capable of determining what point I was making through punctuation? You are amazing, Jim!

Damn, my cover has been compromised. Jim and Butz have outsmarted me, determining by means of clever and dogged sleuthwork that TIMOTHY CARMAIN and TIMOTHY CARMAIN-PERILLOS are in fact the same person! How could I have been so careless? Surely no one else on the Arcadia forum would have made the connection if those two meddlers hadn't figured it out! Curses! Now I will never be able to bring the Arcadia forum to its knees and save the world for...for...

(psst! Jim, who am I working for again?)

You ought to write comic books, Jim. "Batman" indeed!

I'm sure those are the names you used to infiltrate these orders you are in deep conflict with.

So, if I'm "infiltrating" both in order to corrupt both, whose team am I playing on again?

by definition: Christian apologetics is a field of Christian theology that aims to present a rational basis for the Christian faith, defend the faith against objections, and expose the perceived flaws of other world views.....

you and boy wonder without a doubt.
