i refer here to the lady that seems to appear and many believe her to be VM...
what are some other explanations?
is there a pattern to her appearance?
and who is she?

Ah, the bean sídhe or banshee! The wailing woman in white from Celtic lore. "La Sarrasine".

Yes, I was being serious. Folklore abounds. In Ireland she wails for the dead (or soon to die), in Gaul and Iberia she guarded treasures and sacred sites and lured young men to their doom. Lots of variation.

How does the "Lady Of The Lakes" fit in? Isn't she a white one too?

might be wrong...

but what of the white lady that does not wail...but smiles?

indeed...

i am not asking about the banshee.
i am asking about the apparition that some claim to be the VM...
