:D

No i meant that Badgers always start on a dead or dying herbivore by eating the milk sac & udder first....they can leave it looking like it had just undergone laser removal...very neat.....they also eat the anus, ears, eyes...and can drain the poor beast of blood in a few hours.....i should know.

However all power to the badgers, it's called survival of the fittest.

As to pigs...we have wild boar that'll eat a dead & dying ewe but they make a right mess!....couldn't mistake their midnight feast for that of Aliens.

And they're a protected species in the UK. They're following their natural behaviour in the above examples you mention. That's a world away from animal mutilation and cruelty by 'ETs', 'vampires' and similar radges.

Badgers with lasers?

Badgers, that is "Lovesick Badgers" are also one of

the candidates for the cause of Crop Circles.

Could it possibly be some kind of watcher .I am sure there is some sort of paranormal force that hangs around cemeterys andthe like. But it neednt be necessarily evil.Perhaps the highgate vampire got mistaken for this.I dont know why but i think there is something-some kind of force that hangs around these places. Its just a thought. maybe people sensed its presence and this added to the confusion.

Have you sensed this presence at Highgate, claremonde?

Also, when you say "watcher"...could you elaborate on that? I've heard of graveyard watchers and the fallen angel variety of Watcher...but perhaps you mean something else?

If ya noticed in this random selection, not a heathen-pagan viewpoint in sight, no link to folk into 'watchin' the most prevalent 'watched' entity on the 'Net, namely, porn.

its all a matter of viewpoint, yes?

I always wondered why the 'entity' is not automagically called diabolic, satanic, ghoulish 'cuz if these 'entities' are searchin' for so-called lost souls, they are far too late. All that's left are carcass cadavers. If a 'presence' is there it sho' ain't angelic.

To Anthony. yes i have experieced something like this though not in highgate cemetery .I meant really a guardian type of entity .Im convinced supernatural forces like this hang around places like cemeterys hospitals morgues.etc.I think in these places the viel between this world and the next is at its thinnest. To jabberwokky.I mean of course a strange force probably niether good nor evil. People are moving into the next world . It only stands to reason that something waits and maybe helps them.Yes it could be trying to find lost souls.

It's an interesting hypothesis, claremonde, but I'm not exactly sure how it ties into the events actually described, concerning Highgate.

Did any of the reported phenomena remind you of these spirit guardians, at all?

Also, do you rule out the possibility that a hoax/es were perpetrated in order to make a quid off the thing?

"People moving into the next world"?

But, Clarmonde, you said elsewhere that you don't believe in ghosts!

If your experience of "a guardian type entity" was not at Highgate Cemetery why posit it as a theory to explain away the extremely malevolent Highgate Vampire entity?

You are twisting what Calemonde said, 'Caledfwich'. He said he does not accept the existence of 'vampires' as you try to describe them. YOU are the person who is attempting to spread the story about a 'vampire' here - nobody else.
Why? Well you know all too well! That false story about a 'blood sucking vampire' is just about as real as your false identity!

Thank you, I now see where Highgate got his reputation. Do you get cattle mutilation cases over there in the British Isles?

Not just cattle mutilation, Renne, but human mutilation as well.
