Greetings all,
Several Oak Island theorists have their own arguments going on in other threads. I would be interested in theories about the OI mystery other than those. Perhaps some forgotten archeological evidence, old writings that have been found, or a new discovery.
I joined this forum to present my theory. I have since learned that perhaps I based it on suspect information. That's why they are theories, and not god-given facts granted only to me. No one is perfect.
I can admit it when my research leads to odd tangents and is not the end-all-be-all of this mystery.
You have devoted time to your theory, care to discuss it in a thread that might support, instead of mock you?
Let's have an intellectual discussion, not a slugfest. The invitation is open.
:)

I forgot to add, my theory is based on the "inscribed stone" code. I did not then know that the provenance of that stone is still in question.

Back to the Drawing Board for me!

Hi Macteague, why not check out my Privateer/pirate connection theory, you have to scroll down the little anchors for the whole story and there are several roll over pictures.

Hi Macteague,
I don't know if the inscribed Stone is real or not but it is written in a known alphabet and it matches the inscribed rock fragment.
It is proving difficult to decipher however.
I have forwarded the alphabet ( 6 dialects ) to Andrew in the hope that he can post it on this forum for me as I don't have the computer skills to do it myself.
However I can e-mail it to you if you wish, just send me a private message.
Regards, Sheila in France
