Like the rest of the nation I have been enthralled with all the jubilee celebrations over the last couple of days, this kind of thing shows Britain at it's best and I for one am proud to call myself British. Wether you agree with the concept of monarchy or not I think no one can deny that our Queen has served her nation well over the last 60 years, she has done us proud and hopefully will continue to do so for a while yet. Watching the ceremony this morning at St Pauls cathedral and the motorcade before this afternoons procession brings our history directly to the fore as the commentators describe the buildings and there surroundings as the Queen passes them by, we have such a long turbulent history on this sceptred isle that is still at the core of all the pageantry and pomp we have witnessed this weekend, traditions and ceremonies that go back hundreds of years that are as spectacular to watch today as they would have been when they were first performed......even in the rain :D .

:D Perfect. Couldn't add to that. Sixty years dedicated service to country, and has never put a foot wrong. Long may she continue.

It looks wonderful, The Queen has truly supported and provided stability for Britain and the Commonwealth - a remarkable, funny, intelligent and strong woman may she have a long and prosperous reign.

If you have any pics feel free to share. I love the street fairs and the general joyous atmosphere. If you have anything that encompasses this.

The BBC in America had a 24 hour television marathon about the Queen, her family, her reign, her life...and I probably watched all of them....very well done and so relevant and important to our time in history...
