Sad news. That's not so very old, these days. He certainly picked a lovely place to live, and hopefully had some happy twilight years, walking those bookshop-lined streets.

Living in the village of millions of books, maybe he was reading alot.

Since the days of Soft Machine I always loved Ayers' eccentric music style. Roger for sure met him and knew him. Naturellement Tertius (who's never been in the music business) doesn't know a thing about Kevin Ayers. :D
