The pupils are made of Obsidian which consists mainly of silicon dioxide .....i know that because right at this moment i'm researching the properties of Silica sand and Mica sheets for inclusion on another thread.

Pure obsidian is usually dark in appearance, though the color varies depending on the presence of impurities. Iron and magnesium typically give the obsidian a dark green to brown to black color.
However, the eye make-up lines are lapiz lazuli...they're blue.
