Crypts……necropolis.

While researching St Denis I came across an article regarding the Jesuits and there founding members. I have since read a few different versions and I don’t know which is the true or correct version but the St Denis version is very interesting in the light of the underground worship subject. Apparently the first seven members of this movement met in a crypt in the chapel of St Denis’s in Paris to set up there society.
They are also called the Society of Jesus, Soldiers of Christ and foot soldiers of the pope.
St Denis seems to be cropping up in everything i study at the minute.
