Who made that claim? As far as I know, it isn't true. But he did use the state of Council Housing (HLM isn't quite the same, but close enough) to embarrass the mayor.

What I wonder about really, is the continuing claim by Sion sceptics that Plantard and the Priory 'were never political', despite the obvious evidence to the contrary, including the supposed letter mentioned above
