Welcome Jackie, nope I haven't connected the keystone with the Shugborough code. However I will give you my feedback. After quickly glancing at the picture, could you expand on your theory as to why this keystone is so important, when the letters surrounding it don't directly correspond to the "Anson Code"?
Regards
Nic

Hi Bulldognic, and thanks for a reply... Ok, Not that its this Keystone that the builders rejected, but a KEYSTONE that was used.
In the Royal Degree each Mark Mason has their own Mark. an example here
"the mark becomes a series of lines and dots, well known to those who have already been exalted to the Holy Royal Arch Degree"

The stone placed in the center of an arch which preserves the others in their places, and secures firmness and stability to the arch. As it was formerly the custom of Operative Masons to place a peculiar mark on each stone of a building to designate the workman by whom it had been adjusted, so the Keystone was most likely to receive the most prominent mark, that of the Superintendent of the structure. Such is related to have occurred to that Keystone which plays so important a part in the legend of the Royal Arch Degree.

This is an example of what i was trying to explain. The Code has 8 letters as does the Keystone in the Royal Arch.
I was trying to connect the 3 V`s with the 3 Veils which are in the Royal Arch.
Hope this helps. I am still working on this but i am 100 percent positive the DOTS in between each letter is a clear indication
this is a type of Keystone that the builders of this Monument used.
I was curious if the Idea of this being a Masonic Keystone was ever mentioned before.
Thanks Jackie

Also, wanted to mention, The Cats Monument that sits across from The Shepherds Monument...
If you look at the Base at the bottom of the Cats Monument, I clearly seen the Shepherds Tomb. Just wondering if anyone else noticed?
It would be under the Griffins that are holding the Cup ( Graal)
Thanks!

Hey Jackie
Welcome
I find it interesting the number eight has some significance to the floor at the Tour Magdala

This was the best I found on that 8.

The first that jumped out at me while looking at that Flooring
was the eight pointed star.
Thanks L for your feedback

This makes sense, because of the two offset letters as the two pillars. Jachin and Boaz. The apprentice and master pillar. The keystone is very important. ALL of this renne le chateau business just drips of masonic ties.

That's wrong. Entirely wrong.
