I read the posts on this forum about John Joffre Driscoll (aka Sean O'Driscoll), and trying to figure out other informations about him or any connections he had with Gladio, I found another Driscoll, Robert Paul Driscoll: he was one of the CIA's chief in Rome in '50, after the ww2, and he tried to create a covert secret intelligence service in Italy, another Gladio like network, (there are some italian books about that) and here you have some of the infos I found on web:

This is a copy of Robert Paul Driscoll's CV

I would like to know if he is related to John Joffre Driscoll (maybe his brother?). John was born in 1915, as said by his wife Liz O'Driscoll on here, while Robert was born in 1916.

Maybe TCP could help you but I don't they are related. Notice the names are a bit different. Driscoll - O'Driscoll.

I don't know about that rain. In researching a major link in my own family, I found that the Connells, O'Connells, Connels, McDonalds, MacDonalds and McConnells are all the same family, from Argyllshire.

Hi rain, as you can read here, his real name was John Joffre Driscoll, he later changed in O'Driscoll.

I'll tell you a coincidence already
January 17 was the day he got married
that is a big day in Rennes
Many have said that the CIA or MK Ultra or the French Secret Service played some part in all of this
In reading Coopers Behold A Pale Horse
he had worked for Navel Intelligience and they had known about Rennes and the Lord's Tomb

Your right of course, sorry I get confused because he has many derivations of his name and nicknames. Like I said TCP would be more familiar with him and his family.

You're right they're all septs.

I'm trying so hard to remember ulissex - It sounds so familiar, I think I might have mixed them up when I was looking into it and thought Robert.P was Sean/John, myself.

Great find by the way

Jean-Luc Chaumeil confirmed to the author as well – de Chérisey was best friends with Sean O’Driscoll, head of the intelligence division of NATO in Paris. He even made him godfather to one of his children. Even if de Chérisey’s friendship with O’Driscoll was just that, it nevertheless makes it clear that NATO Intelligence – which ran the stay-behind networks – had an inside track into what was going on with Rennes-le-Château and the Priory of Sion. Coincidence, or design?

http://www.perillos.com/pos1_4.html

It is interesting the CIA interest in Rennes .....

It was Our Lady of Knock
I found Mary Magdalene with the hands the same as Mary Magdalene at Rennes Chateau
Image
I had know idea that it was there
The hands have been chipped away by vandals
So there seems to be an Irish side to Rennes
Our Lady of Knock has the spring with the healing waters
like Our Lady of Lourdes

I don't believe so, no. Robert Driscoll did have a brother by the name of John but he died several years before "our" John.

Not much, just their names. I followed this line of inquiry quite some time ago and it turned out to be a false lead. An intriguing one though, had it panned out.

I think I just found him on one of the genealogy forums - his parents, his siblings, and him. Same birthday and birthplace. It's been awhile, I don't recall which one I saw it on. You could probably Google it though.

I just received a confirmation that Robert Driscoll and John Joffre Driscoll weren't brothers, directly from one of the descents of Robert Driscoll, like TCP pointed out. So I guess the topic is closed

Now that you mention it, one of John's kids from his first marriage said her dad only had one sibling, a sister.
