Hi everyone. I am pleased to introduce my 17 Questions (more like 37) with Ben Hammott.

Do have a read:
http://www.andrewgough.co.uk/17questions_ben.html

Ben is a entertaining as always, and does a nice job of fielding some rather tough question...

Cheers,

Andrew

Nice interview. I like Ben's wittiness. Good luck Ben with the rest of your research that I'll certainly keep following and putting on Rennessence.

Don't expect any more de-bunking as I don't want to turn into Paul Smith the Second and kill the debate. I have never enjoyed it and I'm tired of it.

Better to put energy in building than in breaking (blast..did I just quote and American president........o dear).

Take care | Raven

Nice of Ben to confirm that the tomb is a hoax by refusing the perfect opportunity to have Andrew Gough personally witness it. The blindfold suggestion that I made long ago was just to make a point that even if Ben had a good reason not to trust Andrew to keep the location to himself that there was a way to preclude that possibility. Everybody here has seen what kind of person Mr. Gough is. He's a legitimate RLC enthusiast and reporter of current affairs with high integrity. If anybody in the world could be trusted to see the tomb, it would be Andrew Gough.

By refusing Andrew's generous offer to confirm the existence of the tomb to the world once and for all, Hammott has only perpetuated the idea that the tomb is a hoax. Telling us that the excavation will prove the tomb's validity does nothing to quell the suspicions because that would take years if it occurs at all. He could use that line until we all die of old age. I, for one, am now more convinced than ever that the tomb is a fake, simply because of Ben's refusal of Andrew's offer.

He said he put more of that foam insulation into the hole, so it would be troublesome to take it out so Andrew could access the hole. Why the hell would he put more of that in there after the mess that resulted from the first batch? Is he insane? Just stuff a wadded up garbage bag in there, for crying out loud. Nice and easy to take back out. There is no foam in the hole because there is no hole, other than a fake one.

Ben also said that Andrew wouldn't be able to see the tomb through the hole anyway. Why, then, was Ben shown in Bloodline looking down the hole as he manipulated the pole, rather than looking at the monitor as would be expected? Judging from the Bloodline footage, you can look down the hole and see what's going on quite some distance down there just as good as if you were looking at the monitor, which would give you a nice closeup view.

Its got to be very frustrating for those learned educated archeologists and academics to be beaten out of the Rennes Mystery

Its Karma

Love the Interview

is something he'll have to live down for a VERY long time with academics and archeologists

Not as much as those people who are going to have to live it down who called him a liar.

Exactly those who have called him a liar who are THEY?

He has evidence such as the box and the corpse

and now soon the excavation will be taking place with France government in attendance

I think I trust Ben better than the French Government

This is pretty Incredible

Yes, the truth will stand in its own right.
I am very hopeful that the DRAC and the TOMB will see the light. Mis au jour la verite.

Trouble is, Bill, your "truth" is to do with Faith and not with historical and/or archaeological facts or evidence!

DRAC have dismissed everything as being rubbish.
DRAC would have made an announcement years ago if it considered it to be anything worth investigating.

Yes, you and the rest of you are a Laughing Stock!
Cite ONE FRENCH NEWSPAPER that has bothered to busy itself with this "story" - just one French Newspaper?

What have other 'french researchers' got to do with it? We arent 'working' for them ... and these self same researchers, every single one of them you think are charlatans and pseudo-historians, unless they say Sauniere was selling masses and thats all there is to it!

You can't find anyone endorsing your "work".
The fact is that folk and researchers in France have dismissed it.

I havent been saying anything for the best part of a decade. Neither has Ben. If you look on Bens web site, you will find information about when the tomb was reported to DRAC.

Then perhaps you can repeat the right information

Well done Andrew another good interview to rank up along side the rest. As for the detractors, only time will tell. Having read Ben's book (and enjoying it) I am prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt, if in a year or two's time nothing has happened then I too may become sceptical. Like I said only time will tell.
