BTW.
We accidently found that place where Ben's tomb is. It is on private property though! And just after the turn off to Sougraigne, if you go straight. Some pictures were published on a german website. But nobody saw that hole yet where it is going down to the grave. The entrence is quite dangerous, earth and stones hanging from the ceiling.

Well spotted! Maybe there IS the shaft, but they are to blind to find it-don´t you think Ben hasn´t sealed it up???
@Ben: Hurry up now, otherwise they will take the diamonds at first

Now there's a nice scoop. Well done!
Dare I ask how you know this is the spot?

Well well, so there is no hole after all. How enlightening. Not much chance of missing a sealed up hole either. Just look for the big blob of spray foam.

I must say at first sight these photos look a lot like the Bloodline clip in which Bruce is led into a tunnel by Mr. Thome. If I can find the time I'll check the clip to see if that makes sense.

It does make a lot of sense, in fact, it's the tunnel, Bruce Burgess is shown around in by French researcher Gerard Thome in this movie clip.

That's not the Hammott tomb cave. That's a completely different thing. That's some kind of quarry. Thom and Burgess never went inside the Hammott cave. I thought the images on the website looked different from the image of Hammott and a blond haired guy going into the Hammott cave. Now we know why. We also know why Hammott isn't upset about you finding his tomb, you didn't. When you find THIS cave, let us know, huh?

Extraordinary. That would seem to shed some light on how things got moved around in the tomb site - it's apparently not inaccessible after all.

You said you never went to the tomb, just knew the location. So what are you doing in a photo titled Bloodline-Crew_Tries_to_Reach_Tomb, and when did you become part of the Bloodline crew? There really is no tomb cave, is there Pat? That's a picture of you hanging out of just some insignificant hole in some rocks, isn't it? BTW, look at the nice torch Ben has. If only Bill Kersey had a torch that nice he would have found the treasure by now. Shame the cameraman had to be eliminated after that shot, but he knew too much. Now there really IS a tomb in that cave.

Could someone get me up to speed on all this, I've been involved in my own trip to the Languedoc and frankly I couldn't be less interested.

As I see it someone has found an unidentified body surreptitiously dumped in a hole in an unmarked grave. Is this right?

Has anyone thought to call the police yet?

Near the turn off to Sougraigne? Near the Source de la Madeleine then?

A tourist attaction that has had thousands of visitors for more than a century.

The pictures seem to show that this hole has is somehow sheltered from the massive amount of rain they've had recently, (I know, I saw it) not to mention the memorable storms and severe flooding they had in 1992 and 1996. How did this happen?

Aren't we now talking about three different holes in the ground? There's the Hammott tomb, the pictures posted that claimed to be the Hammott tomb, but which have subsequently been identified as the "Templar Quarry" from the Thome clip on "Bloodline", and the one of Pat pot-holing. I'm sure I've seen that latter one before somewhere, maybe on Ben Hammott's website, maybe somewhere else. Anyway, I thought it was a hole on Blanchefort. Perhaps Pat could enlighten us? This is all confusing enough as it is!

In deed, we tried to reach a passage, which COULD be connected to the whole system. How I did get involved to the BL-Team ( I would better say to Ben Hammott) I already wrote above...

Whole system? If that is Blanchefort, in the photo of you lowering yourself into a hole, and the Thome "Templar Quarry" is - I believe - near the Comsourde valley, and the Hammott tomb is wherever it is, then that is one hell of a long tunnel!!!

Oh this whole Hammott tomb thing is just a big mess of half-truths and flat out lies. Why don't Pat and Hammott just get some valid evidence of the existence of the tomb and post it, instead of all this stuff that really proves nothing whatsoever, other than that somebody is either one of the least competent archaeological investigators or the perpetrator of a very ill conceived hoax. No wonder very few people believe Hammott's claims. He just doesn't have a clue about how to properly present a plausible case. As it now stands, the Hammott tomb story is pretty much the biggest joke of the RLC community, right after Douzet's flakey tomb story.

You make it sound like you're questioning Ben Hammott's postings on this forum. I can only find one post via bergeredearcadie and that was back in April. If other forum members and some websites post pictures and info about his research and discoveries, of which you are one jb, surely you should be questioning them and not him?

Dear AngryMother,

Why would you call the father of your son 'Ben Hammott'? I would have expected you to say 'Ben', ' Bill' or 'my husband'.

No need to be formal here :)

Best regards | Raven

Sorry to have disappointed you Raven but I thought if I use the name he is known by in this forum then anyone reading it would know to whom I refer. I would like to assure you that I don't address him as Ben Hammott when speaking to him face to face.

So why is Wilkinson's mom here? I guess if his mom says there's a tomb, then it must be true. Here's what you do, Mrs. Wilkinson, you take that money you were going to use to buy Bill a new sweater for Christmas and you use it to hire an accredited polygraph examiner. Then you tape the whole examination and post it on YouTube. Voila, your young 'un is vindicated and all is well. You want that, don't you Mrs. Wilkinson?

Yes, drunk with ideas of how you can vindicate your beloved Benny, but which you forego because you LIKE him to be thought of as a hoaxter. Why? because of all those times he didn't clean his room. NOW he will pay, by being publicly shamed by his mom not even wanting to shell out $50 for one itty-bitty little polygraph exam.
